about
Ain’t it sad, did you hear about
some kid lost his head?
Left a trail of lonesome eyes
Left us all to wonder about the days that lie ahead
Let us pray now for the darkness,
as we pray for some light
Ain’t it sad, did you hear about
them kids on the run?
For weeks on a coyote trail
One year’s wages, hearts lifted in the sun
Just to let go in the shadow of the Isabel jail
So quiet your mind,
let your blood run true.
For the least here among us, it’s the least we can do.
this band is made of good friends of Kill County. Jon plays bass in both bands and Eric has done all the design work for us. masses is the loudest band i have ever seen, they melt faces Kill County
the band that Josh and Ringo started with Brad just as good friends and this eventually spawned kill county. this record is free, just go download it. Kill County
This is a wonderful album. It is personal, senitive, and caring. I love to here Sturgill sing, and wish had found him earlier. I thsnk wnku for playing local artists. I lived in Jackson Ky. And know how sad the drugs have made so many hometowns. Keep singing you are great. carolfaulkner
Solid and consistent rock album. However, there are not enough defining moments or variations in style (both vocally and instrumentally) to sustain my interest for long. I struggle to recognize the song I’m listening to because they all sound so much alike. That being said, though, the band does what they do well. I just wish there was a bit more creativity. The guitar solo in Crying of the Wolves is pretty cool. 6/10. Alrihkh
Nicolette Hoang's velvety vocals are the finishing touch on this pitch-perfect update on outlaw country with a touch of 60s glam. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 27, 2024
